Cooking Tip of the Day

Baking Soda works surprisingly well as shower cleaner.

HydroSlide 2008™ Tip of the Day

Decide you want to get healthy in 2008? Don't like getting sweaty? Here's the plan for you: Start running in place while in the shower. If you like the elliptical machine better, lather your feet with soap before beginning. You may need to install a handicap bar in order to prevent a concussion. Do not install grippers on the tub floor or it will make it too hard to slide. -conglomerate tip from Hunter, Brett, and others

Book and a Bath Tip O Da Day

A nice hot, steamy bubble bath can do wonders for anyone, but if you intend to enjoy a book as well, please keep in mind the side effects of a bath is sleepiness and you must be mindful of your book or you may just drop it in the tub as you nod off ever so briefly. -JCo

Inspiration Tip of the Day

Need a great idea fast? Turn to your shower head. It's true that some of the best ideas come to folks when they're in the shower. Some think it has something to do with warming your head and brain, but the real reason people can think more clearly in the shower is because they're relaxed. Or, maybe it's because they're naked. And wet. As a side note, I've found that so-called "old lady showers" help even more! They are the showers that are handheld--you can spray wherever you need to to "get 'er done." One of our colleagues, Matt, suggests sitting in the shower, often for hours on end. Give that a try too!
