Open with Tip of the Day

If your Mac is anywhere near mid-life, it probably has multiple copies of the same program under the "Open With…" menu that you get when you right-(or command)-click a file. Just download this AppleScript and run it!

Great tip! I wondered how all those got there! Maybe installing Leopard will work too!

I think your best bet is if you do an archive and install. A regular install may take all of those extras with you into the new OS

Regular installs are the devil. Always do archive & install.
