Ok, so this is really kind of scary. You think Credit Card companies would not process applications that have been ripped up to avoid some good old fashioned credit theft. Well think again.

An easy solution is to tear it up and throw it into two different trashcans. Pick ones that have other messy (and potentially nasty) things in them, like the kitchen and bathroom.

If they want to steal your identity, they're gonna have to dig through a lot of disgusting stuff to find it, only to be crushed with disappointment when they realize they are missing half the puzzle!

It's kind of gross, but I always put mine with the old cat litter! Oh, and don't put your trash to the curb until morning...that's a help too. Provided you can beat the sanitation engineers.
