Maybe you are wondering whether or not it is okay to buy a handbag so ridiculously sequined it looks like it was stolen from a Roccocco Period gypsy and carry it when you're wearing jeans and tennis shoes. It is not. The geisha workout look is out. Sorry.

Seriously; what about the combination of L.A. Gear sneakers and a bag made from a skinned Solid Gold dancer says "class"? Sheesh.

Seriously, it's not the bag that is the (whole) problem. It's what they wear with the purse! I can't seem to figure it out but it is an epidemic in the 8th grade.

This is a tip for those who might run where giant swarms of gnats sometimes loiter by the side of the road. This tip stems from a run on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, but I've encountered swarms of gnats in Virginia and Kentucky as well. After your run, always stop and look in a mirror before going into public.
