Jen Garner Tip of the Day

Or, better known as: "Things 'Garnered' From Watching Alias." If one of your missions sends you to an adult theater in Zurich (and let me stand on my soap box for one second...WHY has the word "adult" become associated with all that is evil, vile and foul?) and you happen to find a human head in a box under a seat, you might want to let a manager know. I mean, they should seriously fire their janitorial staff. To "overlook" a human head in a box is pretty much grounds for instant dismissal. Plus, who would WANT to be a janitor at an adult film theater? I'm sure a human head is only one of many disturbing things that could be found.

An applicable quote from the Office:
"Have you ever seen a stripper before?" -Jim
"Jennifer Garner played one on Alias - one of her many aliases." -Dwight
"Me neither." -Jim

I whole heartedly agree that the term "adult" should not be associated with all that is putrid. Along those same lines, neither should gentleman's club = strip joint.

Having had Alias go off the air last May, I've been curbing my need for some Garner action by watching the entire series with Phil, who has never seen it before. It's so cool...we're only on season 2, and his friend, Chris, is a little behind us. He finished season 1 on Saturday and was so excited/mortified by the cliff hanger season finale that he called us immediately to talk about it!

A-Ger--SO true with the "Gentleman's Club." There is nothing gentlemanly about such a place! K-Ris, I'm on season 3! I had only started watching during season 3 and had no idea what I was missing. It is SO FREAKING GOOD I can't stand it. I'm sad that J.J. Abrams abandoned the show and let it downwardly spiral into a sinking abyss of stupidness. Ah well. At least "Lost" is good!

I used the word adultish in a forum and it got my post flagged by a mod to read it. As far as Alias I wish they would have just ended it instead of giving it a slow painful death.

Unfortunately, as we're 2 and a half months behind American programming, I have to wait forever to get to the new season of Lost! We are just on the 2nd episode of the season this week instead of being half way through like you guys! I've so seen these episodes already!
Oh, and this is the first time in weeks that my blogger has come up in English!

Up, no there it goes...back to German again!

While I regretfully agree that Alias dragged on near the end, I am glad they finished it out. I like closure.
Jay said…
Yeah, I guess bad closure is better than none at all. K-Ris, if you read an earlier tip, you can actually wast "Lost" on ABC.com--pretty high res--and then you don't have to wait. It's SOOOO good, this most recent episode!!!

Jay, if you read my earlier comments, I cant do that from here. You have to be in the states!

Lost - isn't that the show that's like... Jurassic Park, only without the dinosaurs?
Kris said…
Actually, there may well be dinosaurs...we still don't know what killed the pilot!
