Book and a Bath Tip O Da Day

A nice hot, steamy bubble bath can do wonders for anyone, but if you intend to enjoy a book as well, please keep in mind the side effects of a bath is sleepiness and you must be mindful of your book or you may just drop it in the tub as you nod off ever so briefly.

While I do sometimes enjoy a bath, I find it difficult to keep the water warm for extended periods. It seems like it's either scalding or cool. I usually end up getting cold before I could ever fall asleep. Any suggestions?

have you tried warming the water up with a hair drier?

Start with the water as hot as you can stand and then warm it up now and again with some hot water from the faucet. You can keep some warmth around you if you draw the shower curtain too.

Bubble baths rule but the hot water tank in my house doesnt. Solution get a bigger tank.

What if the hot tub is outside like Amanda's Jay?

I don't think the hair dryer will work. My plug is too far from the tub.

Not like it really matters anyway, I can't get my tub to hold water because of the stopper. I guess I'll just have to take the bath in the hot tub. It wouldn't hurt to add some bubbles, right?

Umm...I think the hairdryer comment was a sarcastic one, seeing as hairdryer-in-the-bathtub is a pretty classic way to die. Do not try it. Do not make pop-tarts near the tub, either. Toaster yields similar results.
