608 Tip of the Day

After the service has ended, wait until the well-meaning, but still very loud praise band has finished up their closing song before you attempt to have a conversation with anyone. You may as well just sit around and look at each other because you can barely hear yourself think, much less hear about someone else's weekend. So unless you want to be forced to talk to someone (of the opposite sex) quite closely, ahem, then you're really better off waiting.

Nice reference to old tips! Very smooth. It's almost like a show on ABC advertising for another show on ABC or something.

Good tip! We usually do yell over top the music to have a conversation rather than waiting. I really like to people watch during that time and then decide who I want or need to talk to.

This tip stems from a run on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, but I've encountered swarms of gnats in Virginia and Kentucky as well. After your run, always stop and look in a mirror before going into public.
