Flavoring Tip of the Day

Here's an easy way to spice up a regular old pot of coffee. This is especially helpful if your budget has required you to buy Maxwell House this month, instead of Starbucks. Sprinkle some cinnamon in the bottom of the coffee filter. Fill filter with coffee, and then add a few (2-3) drops of almond extract to the coffee grounds. The coffee is now lightly flavored without adding calorie-laden syrups. At the very least, you have at least succeeded in masking not so great coffee. Enjoy!

It should be noted, that due to an ugly incident last winter, Pete & Jay Enterprises is overstocked on cinnamon. If anyone would like to follow this tip, but lacks cinnamon please send us a self address stamped FedEx Box, and we will gladly provide you with one container of free cinnamon.

Cinnamon is good in coffee. Also, if you sweeten - try brown sugar or honey...

cinnamon grim, you remind me that cinnamon is also good in ice cream, specifically Graeter's, and that (alas) it is only available around Thanksgiving. How many weeks until November? I'm getting hungry. I might have to order my free cinnamon from Pete & Jay and concoct a generic version.

"Cinnamon Grim"... I like the sound of that :)

Sounds sort of like a handlebar-mustached villain on the front of a cereal box. (Count Chocula, watch out.)

Hmm... it just rapidly lost its appeal :)

Poor, underappreciated Count Chocula. Cocoa Crispies were his undoing. If only he had the foresight to add cinnamon...
