Football Tip of the Day

Everyone watches the "big game", even those like Jay who haven't watched a single sporting event since last years "big game". To avoid sounding like a complete newbie here is a list of terms that have nothing to do with football: Home Run, Derby, Match, Inning, Wheel, Court, Net, Goalie, Mallet, Pit Crew, Puck, Spoiler, Forward, Jockey, and Power Play.

And remember kids:

Another thing not to do: Do not ask why "Northeast" is playing "Phi Gamma Delta." The "NE" actually stands for "NEBRASKA" and the "PHI" stands for Philadelphia.

This is a tip for those who might run where giant swarms of gnats sometimes loiter by the side of the road. This tip stems from a run on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, but I've encountered swarms of gnats in Virginia and Kentucky as well. After your run, always stop and look in a mirror before going into public. Otherwise, you might actually complete a transaction at the resort store and greet five people before realizing you have up to 15 gnats stuck to your face and neck.
